La nouvelle organisation de l'économie agricole et alimentaire en R.D.A
Bernard Teran
Économie rurale, 1970, vol. 83
Abstract:
Once the agricultural structures established in 1960, the East-German agricultural policy was directed toward the rize of the productivity : agriculture should become a dynamic sector of the economy. From 1966 - 67, the new economic planning system should accelerate this process. The main characteristic of the new system is that it tries to organize the agricultural economy by vertical branches. Agriculture should develop through horizontal and vertical cooperation where the processing industries should become the pole of development for the whole sector. The new conditions make the communitary work more efficient, the introduction of technical progress easier and assure the harmonic development of the food production.
