Économie rurale, 1971, vol. 89
Abstract:
Technical progress and agricultural development - Many authors have studied the nature and the effects of technical progress in agriculture. This article intends to resume the situation on this point. Several theories pertaining to the penetration of technical progress are examined. The author also shows how technical progress can sometimes be used against certain decisions of economic policy. Finally, the influence on the farms of different production and distribution branches which supply them is examined.
