Abstract:
State Participation in the Modernization and Restructuration of the Pork Meat Industry - The investments in the pork processing industries can be Stateaided through a Farm Orientation Subsidy to which may be added an Industrial Development Subsidy, a Cooperation Subvention and the FEOGA aid. These subsidies are allocated according to rules which tend to encourage the modernization and the restructuration of the industry in accordance with the recommandations of the national equipment and modernization plan. The evolution tendencies of the branch are examined through the different applications. The results indicate that the pork meat processing industries are making a considerable modernization effort but the restructuration is not yet of the same magnitude.
