Le modèle de Leontieff comme outil d'analyse du complexe agro-alimentaire

Gabriel Mergui

Économie rurale, 1972, vol. 93

Abstract: The Leontieff model, as a tool for analysing the Agri-Business - The model presented is a project of braking down the 01 and 02 sectors of the French input output Table (TEI), in order to build up an input output table which would make possible an analysis of the relationship between the agribusiness sectors. Beside such a désagrégation into small sectors dealing with homogeneous products, the model proposes to distinguish inside of such sector the various processes which take part in the production (process analysis). The main part of the difficulties which appear on the way of the achievement of such a table, lays in the poverty of the statistical data of the production inputs. Nevertheless, the author thinks he has a good chance to bring the first results in the middle of 1973, through an INRA research project.
