Le système européen de comptes économiques intégrés

Claude Wagner

Économie rurale, 1972, vol. 93

Abstract: The European Account System : SEC - The European Account System elaborated to be used by the whole Community, will be adopted, slightly modified, from 1976 onward and will take the place of the now existing system of National Accounts. Here are the main points of the SEC system : — individual farmings are not parted (in accounts) from the people they belong to ; — all accounts include net balances, payings off being deducted before ; — the very definition of Agriculture is slightly modified : sylviculture is no longer included in it and is from now on considered as a parted branch but < jobworks » are included ; — in the new system, permanent capital (usually made up of farm implements and buildings) will now include livestock and planted areas (vineyards and orchards).
