Les statistiques fiscales et les revenus extérieurs des agriculteurs

Abstract:
Taxation authorities statistics and farmer's non-farm income - In order to allow an inquiry on farmers' non farm resources and make it as inexpensive and rapid as possible, Brittany (taken as a sample region) local taxation Authorities were asked to supply inquirers with information. That led to set up a sample of farmers whose various incomes inquirers tried to analyse. Nevertheless too many questionnaires were not filled up (more than 50 % of them) and such data were not sound enough to make valuable any more inquiries of that type and to be of any use at a national level. Such an inquiry underlines the need to define accurately the very notion of « Farm Family Members» before any elaboration of farmer's household expenses can be valuably settled.
