Les transformations récentes des structures foncières et les exploitations agricoles dans le département de la Mayenne
Georges Macé
Économie rurale, 1973, vol. 98
Abstract:
Recent transformations of land structures in the department of Mayenne - Between the repartition of the types of estates (small holdings in the North, and extensive or middle-sized landed-property in the Centre and in the South) and that of the types of farms, there is a correlation, often close. The evolution which is taking place now, in the frame of agricultural land-market, the difficulties of farmconcentration in the North-West, the importance of the indebtment of the farmers who buy the farm they live on, in the Centre and in the South, can be explained by the features of the land structures already on the spot. Without being negligible, the improvements of land-structures made by the SAFER and the ADASEA have not been to the measure of the problems brought up.
