Abstract:
The study of the drinks sector in France over the period 1968-1975, shows up a two-fold tendency : in a globally expanding market, the development of each group of products brings to light modifications in the eating habits and in the way of life of the consumers. The firm's strategy is to adapt themselves to the modifications of the market or (for the main firms) to encourage changes in demand. Hence a retructurization of the firms, with a tendency towards oligopolization.
