Ruptures dans les séries nationales agricoles
Pierre Greiner
Économie rurale, 1980, vol. 138
Abstract:
After recalling the « normal » trends of agriculture up to 1973, the author examines recent changes. Production capabilities of the french agriculture (i.e. gross output and value-added level in volume) were affected by the economic crisis, but apparently not for a long time. A return to increase rates (in volume terms) similar to the ones previously observed seems to be under way. On the contrary, economic results have suffered from the general inflationary situation : farm income stagnation (in spite of corrective measures taken since 1974), widening of the gap in input/ output price trends. An improvement of the ratio between these prices would allow for a more satisfactory evolution ot the results in value, namely of the farm income.
