Abstract:
An analysis of the cultural features typical of handicraft workers. The increase of this type of population in small villages is mostly an urban phenomenon which has given rise to a strong clash of cultures. We are confronted with two cultures which contrast with each other because the values they believe in are often antagonistic. But handicraft workers play a part in maintaining some of the values typical of the rural world. The handicraft workers themselves have a strongly characterized way of living.
