Abstract:
In the course of research carried out in the Castagniccia area of Corsica and in the southern Vosges, the two concepts of husbandry practices systems and of "terroir" (meaning fairly homogeneous zones of a few hundred hectares) were introduced in 1978. Beyond these two cases, are these concepts useful! for analyzing the agriculture of a region ?
