A methodology for building long term agricultural and rural development strategies aiming at covering the basic needs of the population from a national basis. Scenarii of possible development of the relationships between natural resources, agricultural techniques and social organization. Implementation in some developing countries, with a precarious food situation and scarce natural resources (semi-arid zones).
