Abstract:
Economic activity and social status of agriculturists' wives in a zone of mixed farming (the southern Gers) - The function of the women's work in agriculture is analyzed from the datas of an inquiry. It is also shown that the status of a woman inside her family is significantly influenced by whether or not she inherited the lands.
