Claude-Henri Rosenfell
Économie rurale, 1984, vol. 164
Abstract:
The following article describes the financing conditions of farmers in the various EC Member States, as regards granting of public aid (with the exception of the market support expenditure) and extension of credit. After a brief presentation of the main determining factors specific to the industry, of the financing requirement of agriculture, it looks into capital grants systems and various ways of bringing down the cost of borrowing. The last part presents the main models of agricultural credit and types of loans available.
