Abstract:
During the implementation of expert systems for evaluating the results of animal units, in order to make the knowledge acquisition easier, we have developed a diagnosis knowledge management methodology. Thank to this method, it is possible to represent all the factors taken into account to establish the diagnosis : the identification of all the factors of the studied system (i. e. a herd) ; for each rearing result sharp, the definition of situations (low level, right state, decrease, ...).A set of values is associated to each of these situations (< 25 ; < 30% ;. . .) ; the causes and explanations situations, for faiture situations. This method has been put into practice through a computer program that produce automatically the rulebase of the expert system.
