L'agriculture face à la ressource en eau: comment gérer
Pierre-Frédéric Tenière-Buchot

Abstract:
During the last decades, economic pressure has led agriculture to a constant aim at increased productivity. This has brought about an excessive use of fertilizers, which have contributed to the degradation of surface and groundwaters. French Water Agencies are planning to apply their financial solidarity system to farmers, hoping that it will encourage them to reorganize their activity and those of their suppliers and advisers, providing an increase of their cashflow as well as a better preservation of water resources.
