Abstract:
These study analyses the process of adopting and using computer technology among farmers in the South West of France. The diffusion of computer technology is an important issue. It depends of institutional actors but it is also supported by traditional local groups for mutual-aid and cooperation. Some new social networks appear and increase social différenciation among farmers... The research project have received a grant from the CNRS- PIRTTEM and from Region Midi-Pyrénées Council.
