Les performances comparées des systèmes de production de porc. La Belgique dans le cadre européen
Thierry Vard
Économie rurale, 1993, vol. 216
Abstract:
Against the background of EEC self-sufficiency, this study tries to assess the competitiveness of pig production systems in the main producing areas. After having defined these pig production systems and having deduced regional production systems from them, it seams that the regional economic performance is closely linked to specialization and size, even though little specialized and very autarkic systems may sometimes yield satisfactory margins by produced unit Data of the F ADN, used in this research, appears not well adapted for a detailed technico-economic analysis.
