Abstract:
Will the CAP reform alter the agricultural incomes distribution ? In this paper the issue is addressed at the level of aggregate incomes for the French regions. Using a projection of regional accounts over the reform period the changes in products supply, derived demand and value added are assessed for each region. A comparison with the trend of the pre-reform CAP shows that the reform provides the cereals and oilseed regions with a relative advantage. Finally, the distribution of value added per family worker among French regions does not change.
