Economie sociale et financement des coopératives agricoles
Philippe Nicolas
Économie rurale, 1984, vol. 162
Abstract:
"Economie sociale" and financing of farmers' cooperatives - In agriculture, the "Economie Sociale" has an important cooperative component covering cooperatives proper and local and regional mutual credit banks (CAM). The legal, institutional and financial measures applied for "Economie Sociale" since the second half-year of 1981 hardly concern agricultural cooperatives. Cooperative banks play only a secondary role in the agricultural world, with the exception of the CAM who provides more than 90 % of the agricultural cooperatives' financing.
