Abstract: Agricultural leaders and the working of professional organizations within a department - At the départemental level, the main professional agricultural organisations make up a system run by a small team of leaders holding several elective posts. There is a de facto sharing of responsibilities between these leaders whose task is to ensure the cohesion and continuance of the system and the executives who are entrusted with each organisation 's autonomy.
