Les conditions temporelles de travail des conducteurs de poids lourds transportant des marchandises
Patrick Hamelin
Économie rurale, 1985, vol. 170
Abstract:
The work of the lorry drivers is a well known activity caracterized by the fact that the driver has the responsibility to adjust to most of the risks of the production process. This relative autonomy within the organization of his work however imposes on him longer hours than for the ordinary worker integrated in other production processes. Nevertheless lorry drivers experiment very different working conditions wether they belong to the transportation sector or to other economic sectors.
