Yves Negro
Économie rurale, 1996, vol. 232
Abstract:
Medical and social activities in rural sphere are often perceived as throwing out from urban environment. They constitute in fact one of the structuring axis of the economic fabric of rural areas, offering them a number sometimes very large of jobs. There are therefore in great demand by the rural elect concerned about economic development. The main attractive factor that accounts for the présence of establishments for physically dependent people however remains the low cost of both land and rural estate in the rural sphere, wich expresses on a economic point of view an alleged inclination for rural areas to receive any excluded people.
