Le syndicalisme agricole dans la Loire. Un demi-siècle entre unité et pluralité
Jean Vercherand
Économie rurale, 1997, vol. 237
Abstract:
This article describes briefly one half-century of farmers ' trade-unionism in a region of France which took an important part in the national debates. Key periods are emphasized : the creation of unitary trade-unionism during the Vichy's government and the Liberation period, the trade-unionism revival in the early sixties, the growth of a new farmers ' left- wing - against the unitary trade-unionism - in the seventies and eighties and its failure to change the agricultural policy.
