L'Europe et l'exploitation familiale agricole. L'exemple du pays de Redon - Bretagne

Économie rurale, 1997, vol. 238
Abstract:
Sometimes eclipsed by the disputes about the "indispensable harmonisation " of laws and social applications on the European level, the question about the part and position of the farmers (and agriculture) has become today of the utmost importance ; we have tried to point it out from the analysis made by the APO and the Land Institutions action, as they are considered to be "Institutional and Organizational Mediations" between family-size farms and Europe. What does actually mean "joint management" for the farmers, who are indead the pioneers of the European Community and are today representing less than 8% of the working population ?
