Politique alimentaire et sécurité nutritionnelle Le cas critique des lipides en Inde
Bruno Dorin
Économie rurale, 1998, vol. 247
Abstract:
Through the analysis of the Indian nutritional availability and accessibility, this paper focuses mainly on the determining factors of production, distribution and consumption of lipids. It can be stated that there is a much more severe deficiency of lipids than the one of carbohydrates and proteins, especially among the rural population. This leads to assess the role of food policies - especially those related to the Green Revolution - in this socially expensive situation.
