Abstract:
Despite the significative influence of the CAP on European agricultural markets, the agricultural sector of EU countries are also partly under the influence of macroeconomic activity and policy shocks. One of the questions raised by the relationships between macroeconomy and agriculture in Europe concerns the comparison of the expected impact of the future EMU monetary policy schocks on the agricultural sector in European countries. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the sensibility of agriculture to monetary policy shocks among european countries.
