Abstract:
French farm policy: state and professional organizations - During the last fifty years, French farm policy went along with the transformation of French agriculture. So, during the sixties, the implementation of a new policy encouraging modernization of the farms leads to an increasing participation of the farmers'unions in the new policy. But, since the eighties, with the change of the European context and the increasing requirements of competitiveness on the one hand, the growing importance of environmental protection on the other, the partners of farm policy have to elaborate a new «référentiel».
