Abstract:
The purpose of this article is suggest an analysis grid of the agrofood denominationsof origin in order to underline the differences from the industrial brand names. The main results of an exhaustive survey of the situation of the quality collective brands in the 15 countries of the European Union are presented. Finally the main weaknesses of the european regulation of the quality collective marks will be underscored and three major orientations to reform it will be proposed.
