Abstract:
By the ceecs accession to the EU, the eu will enlarge its custom union. This implies both the adoption by the new incumbents of the Common external tariffs and the negotiation at the wro of a common list of commitments. The aim of this paper is to estimate, by the use of the Armington assumption, the likely changes in agro-food trade flows and the potential market access compensation issues when enlargement takes place.
