Abstract:
This article sets out the main reasons which can explained political and administrative decentralization in the 80's in France and points up the development of agricultural supports at departmental and regional tiers. First we identify these supports and propose an analyze of their grounds. We stress the evolution of agricultural subsidies towards integrated rural measures. Then some assumptions about evolution of the roles of sub- national government in the agricultural sector follow.
