L'evolution du comportement alimentaire au Japon
Jane Cobbi
Économie rurale, 1989, vol. 190
Abstract:
In order to understand the Japanese attitude toward Western food practices, it is useful to study its introduction in Japan from a historical point of view. Some innovations in this field are due to the initiative of the Japanese government or even to the Meiji emperor himself, and have been applied through collective ways like the army and school lunches. In this paper have been quoted examples concerning mainly the meat and milk consumption.
