Les pays en développement et les négociations de l'OMC sur la libéralisation des échanges agricoles
Alan Matthews
Économie rurale, 2002, vol. 267
Abstract:
This article discusses the interests of developing countries in the mo negotiations. First, they seek meaningful improvements in market access for their agricultural exports. Second, they seek greater equality of outcomes between developed and developing countries particularly in the use of domestic supports. Third, meaningful concessions on special and differential treatment will be necessary to satisfy the interests of both developing country exporters and food importers. Fourth, innovative and reliable guarantees will need to be provided against the risk of world price volatility.
