Abstract:
This paper analyses the main antitrust decisions in the agribusiness sector in Europe. First, legislation is recalled Then, we introduce the main antitrust decisions regarding the agribusiness sector in Europe. We emphasize five main items: the increasing concentration at the upward level, the new relations and tensions between agrofood sectors and retailers, the growing importance of branding and finally, the collective coordination among agents in the supply chains either by collective or "chain " agreements and common labelling strategies.
