Laboratory experiments on the control of three species of fruit flies (Tephritidae)

Abstract: Factors that might influence the results of treatments were found to be species, adult age, and sex of the flies and, in residue treatments, period of contact with residues, anesthetization, and number of flies per cage. The last two and the species seem to operate through effects on fly activity.
