Abstract: During the 10-year period January 1, 1962-December 31, 1971, our diagnostic laboratory received a total of 1,208 accessions for disease diagnosis. Of these, 1,194 were in the phylum Arthropoda with most (1,173) in the class Insecta. Other arthropod classes represented were Arachnida (16), Crustacea (3), and Symphyla (2). Ten accessions were from the phylum Annelida, one from the phylum Chordata, and three were microbial cultures submitted for identification.
