A ROMA LAKOSSÁG INTEGRÁCIÓJÁNAK KÉRDÉSKÖRE ÉSZAKKELET-MAGYARORSZÁGON FÖLDRAJZI ASPEKTUSBÓL

Abstract: Északkelet-Magyarországon él a hazai cigányság mintegy fele, azonban már önmagában a létszámok mérése is komoly nehézségekbe ütközik. Tanulmányunkban feltárjuk a roma lakosság számára vonatkozó különböző forrásokat, illetve érzékeltetjük a legfontosabb területi sajátságokat. A földrajzi aspektus a roma lakosság aránya alapján kialakított településcsoportok néhány társadalmi-gazdasági mutatójának időbeli vizsgálatán keresztül jelenik meg. A demográfiai, foglalkoztatási és iskolázottsági jelzőszámok elemzése sajátos differenciákat tükröz a településcsoportok között. A mutatók különbségei rávilágítanak az integráció legfontosabb területeire, nehézségeire, nem utolsó sorban a változási tendenciákra is. Vizsgálatunk részeként összegeztük a kérdőíves felmérésbe bevont cigány kisebbségi önkormányzati képviselők integrációra vonatkozó elképzeléseit, a legfontosabb célterületeket, melyek alapvetőek lehetnek a romák felzárkózását és integrációját illetően. -------------------------------------------------------------------- One half of the Hungarian Gypsies live in Northeastern Hungary, however even the measuring of the number of Roma population seems to be a relevant problem. In the current study, the different resources of the number of Roma population will be discovered, with sepcial attention to the territorial characteristics. The geographical point of view is represented by the dynamical analysis of some social-economic indicators in the groups of settlements delimited according to the ratio of Roma population. The demographical, employment and educational indicators reflect back significant disparities among the groups of settlements. The differences in the levels of development discover the most important fields and problems of the integration and their tendencies as well. As part of the study, the opinions of the representatives of the Gypsy minority self-governments involved in our survey were also summarized, with the conclusion of the core fields of integration that might be regarded essential in the closing up of the Roma population.
