Economics of Agriculture, 2008, vol. 55, issue 3

Abstract: We can say that Serbian cooperative movement has gone through much probation. The period includes not only the period of socialism but also the modern period characterized by the transition process. In these movements, that is, various experiments that have happened to it, the cooperatives managed to survive. This indicates how durable and capable of surviving in various socio-economic systems the cooperatives are. Modern Serbian cooperatives have in accordance with the Cooperative Law Draft accepted the annex related to the cooperative principles which are valid internationally.
