PERSPECTIVES OF PLUM PRODUCTION IN REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

Abstract:
State of growing of plums in Serbia is consequance general situation in agriculture and fruit production of Serbia. It is exposed of great impact of unstable markets (domestic and foreign) and variation of climatic conditions, growing of plums has its rises and falls. In the period from 1990 to 2004 in spite of reducing of total number of native (fertile) tree (average annual rate of change -0,99%) production of plums is increasing at annual rate of change of 0,39%, as a result of revitalization of plum production in the last several years.
