No 400145, 24th Congress, Saskatoon, Canada, 2024 from International Farm Management Association

Abstract: Major issues in agriculture are the decreasing numbers of individuals working in the industry and the disconnect between farmers and the community. This research explores the effectiveness of industry-based organizations and agricultural education courses at the secondary education level in benefiting the farm and community. This study looks at testimonies of individuals that benefited from agricultural courses and organizations to analyze their impact on career choices and personal development. This study explores the impact of involvement in the National FFA Organization and IFMA on the individual.
