Abstract:
Sustainable development discourse attempts to manage trade-offs between the triad of the social (poverty and equity), ecological (natural resources), and economic (growth) (Munasinghe 1993). In contrast, ecosocialism discourse sets up a dialogue between social equity and ecological sustainability.
