Current Status of Agricultural Labors in North Korea and Inter-Korean Cooperation for Human Resource Devolopment

Abstract:
The objectives of this study are to review the current status of agricultural labor and its problems in North Korea, and to suggest effective cooperation scheme between two Koreas for human resource development. Considering the special relationship between the North and the South, step-by-step and progressive approach is required. The exchange of knowledge and information, holding scientific meetings, studying co-projects, exchange of inspection tour, exchange program for farmers, students, and experts are feasible and desirable measures.
