A Study on the Effective Application in Agricultural Statistics

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is, as a first stage of related study, to suggest the effective direction applying remote sensing technology as a tool for agricultural statistics. The study explores an advantage of remote sensing technology, the applicable field and feasibility in agricultural statistics. As a result, the study presents some specific recommendations of satellite image, the priority of applicable field, the applicable crops and priority. The next steps of this study will be to analyze agricultural statistics system using remote sensing in advanced countries such as PEDITOR and MCYFS, and will be to develop our own statistics system continuously.
