Abstract: The article studies issue of a comparative estimation of the country regions’ development level. The author offers a set of indicators for defining competitive advantages and drawbacks of social and economic development of territories on the basis of integrated estimations. The basis of the author’s approach is a principle of extraction of the regional rent in modern conditions.
