Abstract:
Presents the aspect of social responsibility as an idea in the direction of sustainable development and for the sake of improving the quality of life and preservation of natural resources and values . Dynamically growing production and consumption has a more pronounced impact on the environment. There is a strong negative link between economic growth and environmental harmful effects of consumption, use of natural resources and generation of waste. One of the key elements of the partnership is also a food economy, understood as the entire food chain from raw material acquisition – agriculture, the processing industry - by packaging production, sales, consumption and waste management. For the entire food production chain action to protect the environment and natural resources should be placed in key positions in the strategies of corporate social responsibility and development of the company.
