Substytucyjność Czynników Produkcji W Towarowych Gospodarstwach Rolnych Ukierunkowanych Na Produkcję Zwierzęcą

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to evaluate the substitution of capital for labour in commercial farms focused on livestock production in Poland in the years 2009-2011. The researches were conducted based on empirical data unit from Polish FADN classified into types of farming “Dairy farms” and “Granivores”. Survey was made using of Cobb-Douglass production function. The results show that in the period substitution of capital for labor was effective in both types of farms. A comparative analysis indicates that the marginal rates of capital for labour substitution was more favorable in the dairy farms than granivores.
