Abstract:
This paper presents efficiency analysis of Polish food industry. The main purpose of this paper is to compare the efficiency of 8 food branches based on labour and fixed assets productivity and non - parametric method - Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI). The highest average index of changes in MPI in 2004-2013 was achieved by processing of meat and manufacture of beverages.
