Abstract:
Shows the status of rapeseed production in Poland, Belarus and Ukraine. Were shown changes in the sown area, obtained yields and collections for the period 2005-1014. All the analyzed countries has increased rapeseed production. The largest harvest of this plant are obtained in Poland. The increase in rapeseed production in Poland was caused by the development of domestic biofuels sector. Increased production of this plant in the Ukraine and Belarus is resulted from the increase in foreign demand. In the case of Ukraine, the production of rapeseed in the country was determined by demand from the biofuel sector in the EU. The impact of the biofuels sector in Belarus affecting the development of local production of rape is small.
