Abstract:
In years 2004-2014 the participation of the generality of organic farms in farms in the country grew up 13-times to 1.8% and the participation of the area of organic corpland in corpland grew up 8-times to 3.5%. There are four provinces clearly specialized in the organic agricultural production: Warmian Masurian, West Pomeranian, Mazovian and Lubelskie. The organic production improves the structure of farms in the country. The area of most important organic cultivations and their participation in the area of cultivations in the country grew up. The essential participation in the country-made occupy the sheep milk and the goat milk. Being covered regions specializing in the given organic production with the production altogether is apparently clearly only in case of fruit. In all provinces in Poland the number of organic processing plants increased. The processing plants of fruit, vegetables and the meal of cereals dominated. The processing plants of organic products are concentrated in voivodships: Mazovian, Lubelskie and Wielkopolskie. The provinces specializing in the organic milk, fruit and vegetables processing have a good raw material base, because they are specializing also in their production.
