Abstract: In the article the problem of diversifying the efficiency of the tangible and intangible resources of farm businesses as the way to achieving the good position on the EU and Word food market were presented. The role of relatively new resource was also emphasized. This new resource is the intellectual capital - so far not noticed and not used in the agriculture. The chosen results of the effectiveness of this capital in polish farm businesses applying the VAIC™ method of A. Pulica were presented. / Synopsis. W artykule podjęto kwestię zróżnicowania efektywności materialnych i niematerialnych zasobów przedsiębiorstw rolniczych w aspekcie poprawy konkurencyjności polskiego rolnictwa na rynkach UE i świata. Podkreślono rolę relatywnie nowego, dotychczas nie docenionego w rolnictwie zasobu, jakim jest kapitał intelektualny. Przedstawiono wybrane wyniki badań efektywności wykorzystania tego kapitału w polskich przedsiębiorstwach rolniczych stosując metodę VAIC™ opracowaną przez A. Pulica.
